What you will do

• Co-define the technical vision for agentic systems: autonomous agents, multi-agent collaboration, planning, decision-making, and execution.
• Translate product and business problems into concrete agentic architectures and system designs.
• Design and build production-grade agentic systems, including context engineering & memory strategies, tool use/function calling, and reasoning/decision loops.
• Integrate LLMs into backend systems with clear APIs, contracts, and failure modes.
• Implement LLM evaluation systems and production observability (tracing, logging, debugging, and cost monitoring), plus guardrails and fallback strategies.
• Deliver backend excellence: scalable architectures, APIs/services/data pipelines, and maintainable, secure, testable systems; mentor engineers and participate in architectural reviews.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features or systems to production (not just prototypes or internal demos).
• Experience with modern LLMs and providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and/or open-source models) including trade-offs in quality, latency, and cost.
• Hands-on experience with agentic architectures/workflows, context engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Practical understanding of the full lifecycle: experimentation → evaluation → deployment → monitoring.
• Experience designing evaluation frameworks for LLM systems.
• Fluent English and Spanish, and eligibility to work in Spain.
