What you will do
- Advise on legal matters related to product development, including consumer protection, e-commerce, and advertising law.
- Partner with product, design, and marketing teams to provide actionable legal guidance across multiple product lines.
- Review and advise on sign-up flows, monetization models, and content usage.
- Monitor global regulations such as FTC, DSA, ROSCA, and GPSR to develop compliance strategies.
- Scale legal processes, templates, and risk frameworks in collaboration with privacy and commercial teams.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks early in the product lifecycle to support innovation.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer (EU or equivalent) with 4-6 years of experience.
- In-house experience at a tech or digital consumer company.
- Strong knowledge of consumer protection laws and regulatory frameworks affecting product design.
- Experience with global regulations, specifically focusing on the EU and the US.
- Ability to influence product and marketing decisions at scale.
- Must be based in Romania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, or Lithuania.
