What you will do

• Partner with Product and Engineering to design compliant SaaS and platform models from the ground up.
• Translate complex healthcare regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product specifications.
• Contribute to the company’s AI governance framework, ensuring systems are ethical and compliant with the EU AI Act.
• Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory challenges early in the product development cycle.
• Collaborate with Privacy and Contracting Counsel to embed regulatory requirements into global templates.
• Act as the primary legal point of contact for product, compliance, and commercial teams.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in the EU or UK with a solid grounding in healthcare and digital health regulations.
• 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally in healthtech, medtech, or SaaS.
• Demonstrated experience supporting product development and cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of MDR/IVDR, GDPR, EU AI Act, and NHS-related frameworks.
• Ability to translate complex regulation into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders.
• Collaborative working style with the ability to build trust across engineering and commercial departments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with clinical trial regulations.
• Experience with computer systems validation (CSV).
