What you will do
- Partner with Product and Engineering to design compliant SaaS and platform models from the ground up.
- Translate complex healthcare regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product specifications.
- Contribute to the company’s AI governance framework, ensuring systems are ethical and compliant with the EU AI Act.
- Identify and mitigate legal and regulatory challenges early in the product development cycle.
- Collaborate with Privacy and Contracting Counsel to embed regulatory requirements into global templates.
- Act as the primary legal point of contact for product, compliance, and commercial teams.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer in the EU or UK with a solid grounding in healthcare and digital health regulations.
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally in healthtech, medtech, or SaaS.
- Demonstrated experience supporting product development and cross-functional teams.
- Working knowledge of MDR/IVDR, GDPR, EU AI Act, and NHS-related frameworks.
- Ability to translate complex regulation into clear, actionable guidance for non-legal stakeholders.
- Collaborative working style with the ability to build trust across engineering and commercial departments.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with clinical trial regulations.
- Experience with computer systems validation (CSV).
