Legal Counsel - Regulatory Compliance, Product and Privacy (Software)

Location: Home based in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, or the Americas; option to work from the London office.

What you will do

• Draft and review corporate policies and deploy controls to meet global regulatory compliance requirements.
• Develop and scale global privacy programs, including conducting PIAs and ROPAs.
• Evaluate the impact of privacy and data protection laws, specifically focusing on AI regulations.
• Provide legal support to various internal clients, including product teams, regarding AI deployment and use.
• Coordinate with local counsel in multiple countries to seek and implement legal advice.

Requirements

• Degree in law (JD or equivalent) and an active license to practice law.
• Professional written and spoken English with excellent drafting and presentation skills.
• Must be based in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, or the Americas.
• Ability to travel twice a year for company events (up to two weeks each).
• Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills for a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

• Knowledge of the technology industry, including silicon, data centers, and connected devices.
• Prior experience within an in-house legal team or law firm.
