TL;DR

Focus on navigating complex regulatory landscapes across North America and Europe while translating legal requirements into actionable business solutions.

Location: Remote (any location), with options for office or hybrid work in Ukraine.

What you will do

  • Research and analyze legal risks across international jurisdictions, focusing on North America and Europe.
  • Implement compliance strategies for marketing, payments, consumer rights, and physical goods production.
  • Draft and revise commercial contracts, internal policies, and various legal documentation.
  • Translate complex legal issues into plain business solutions for internal stakeholders.
  • Build and optimize legal processes to ensure positive ROI and service quality.
  • Communicate with international business partners, law firms, and service providers.

Requirements

  • Fluent English (including legal drafting) is required.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in an international law firm or IT product company.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently on a broad variety of legal matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively to solve complex legal issues.

Nice to have

  • Expertise in consumer protection laws (FTC Act, ROSCA, OMNIBUS Directive).
  • Experience advising companies through the full business lifecycle, including compliance and intellectual property.
