Analytics Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal (Office presence required Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays)

What you will do

• Design, build, and own end-to-end data models within a dbt-powered Unified Data Model.
• Partner with Product and Go-to-Market teams to uncover business problems and deliver proactive, data-driven insights.
• Champion a self-service analytics culture by guiding stakeholders toward scalable solutions in Omni.
• Implement AI data agents and foundations to automate reporting and alerting for key business metrics.
• Mentor junior engineers and implement data quality tests and governance best practices to ensure data trust.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an Analytics Engineering or equivalent role.
• Expertise in SQL and dbt, with experience maintaining complex production data models.
• Strong strategic business acumen regarding B2B SaaS metrics such as ARR, NRR, churn, and PLG.
• Demonstrated experience integrating GenAI tooling (e.g., Claude Code) into analytics workflows.
• Fluent verbal and written English.
• Must be based in Lisbon, Portugal to support the hybrid work model.
