Analytics Engineer (AI)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. Hybrid schedule with office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; Wednesdays and Fridays offer more flexibility.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and own complex end-to-end data models in the dbt-powered Unified Data Model.
• Refactor historically messy datasets, including Salesforce data, into clean models that provide a single source of truth.
• Partner with Product, Go-to-Market, and business teams to uncover business problems and deliver actionable, data-driven insights.
• Promote self-service analytics in Omni and help stakeholders build scalable solutions instead of relying on ad hoc dashboard requests.
• Implement AI data agents and supporting foundations to automate reporting and alerting for key business metrics.
• Maintain data quality and governance practices, mentor junior engineers, and improve team processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering or an equivalent role.
• Expert-level SQL and dbt experience designing, deploying, and maintaining complex production data models.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of B2B SaaS metrics, including ARR, NRR, churn, and product-led growth.
• Strong consultative stakeholder management skills and the ability to lead initiatives from business need through delivery.
• Hands-on experience integrating modern GenAI tools into analytics workflows; familiarity with AI coding platforms such as Claude Code.
• Fluent English, both verbal and written, is required.
