Analytics Engineer (AI)

Location: NYC Office, United States; in-person work is expected, with remote work available when traveling.

What you will do

• Build and maintain dbt models and shared metric definitions for company-wide analytics.
• Develop a semantic layer that provides reliable context for stakeholders and AI agents.
• Own measurement, reporting, dashboards, and analysis for domains such as reconciliation, remittances, and risk.
• Partner with Product, Growth, Risk, and Finance on feature impact, funnel, fraud, loss, and cohort analysis.
• Build self-serve analytics tooling in Hex and communicate data-driven findings to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

• Strong SQL, Python, dbt, and experience with a BI or notebook tool such as Hex, Looker, or Mode.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience with a modern data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Exposure to financial data, including payments, banking, lending, reconciliation, or settlement concepts.
• Demonstrable use of AI tools in an analytics workflow.
• Clear communication skills for explaining nuanced data-driven conclusions to product managers and executives.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulated financial products, fraud or risk analytics, credit modeling, reverse-ETL, orchestration, or semantic layers for LLM and agent-driven querying.
