What you will do
- Manage employment-related disputes in tribunals and other courts, coordinating with external counsel and internal compliance teams.
- Provide day-to-day legal advice on employment matters including conduct, complaints, restrictive covenants, and international relocations for EMEA offices.
- Monitor and analyze employment law developments in the UK and non-UK regions to guide HCM strategy and stakeholder training.
- Review and advise on staffing aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
- Lead internal investigations, including those with regulatory connections, and advise on compensation and benefits policies.
- Partner with global teams to develop and advise on the firm's strategic approach to using Artificial Intelligence.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United Kingdom.
- 2 to 5 PQE in employment law advisory and litigation.
- Solid grounding in employment law gained in private practice and/or in-house.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a geographically dispersed legal team.
- Strong judgment and business acumen to assess risks and protect firm interests.
