TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester, UK (Hybrid role).

What you will do

  • Manage Employment Tribunal claims from inception to conclusion, including drafting claims and responses.
  • Prepare witness statements and legal documentation for hearings.
  • Conduct advocacy at Preliminary and Final Hearings where appropriate.
  • Advise clients on a wide range of non-contentious employment matters.
  • Support disciplinary, grievance, and investigation processes.
  • Contribute to employment law updates, training, and client-facing materials.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with experience in contentious and non-contentious employment law.
  • Solid experience managing Employment Tribunal claims.
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and case management skills.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and build trusted client relationships.
  • Commercial, solutions-focused approach to legal advice.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to the Manchester office for hybrid working.
