TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester, UK (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Provide expert advice on day-to-day HR issues, grievances, and complex disputes.
  • Manage Employment Tribunal cases from initial claim to final hearing.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
  • Advise on complex transactional matters including TUPE and collective consultation.
  • Deliver training and thought leadership to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members to support their professional growth.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister (UK) with a current practising certificate.
  • Strong experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience supervising or mentoring others or readiness to step into this role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
