What you will do
- Contribute to business planning within agreed business plan parameters.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with targeted brokers and support marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to marine insurance product development as required.
- Make underwriting decisions independently with minimal referral to the DMD.
- Manage, coach, and support reporting underwriters.
- Deliver the agreed combined loss ratio target while following underwriting authority and standards.
Requirements
- Superior technical knowledge of the marine insurance line of business.
- Recognized market expertise and a strong professional reputation in the relevant line of business.
- Ability to ensure compliance with underwriting standards and procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate data input and ensure systems follow agreed procedures.
- Based in Hong Kong.
