Product Safety & Stewardship Specialist (Chemical Compliance)

What you will do

• Support the Product Safety & Stewardship team and serve as a regulatory gatekeeper for global new product and sample introductions.
• Prepare Safety Data Sheets and labels using SAP-EHS in accordance with the Global Harmonized System.
• Manage China hazardous chemical registration for Advanced Materials products.
• Act as the regulatory owner for selected APAC countries covering GHS implementation and hazardous chemical controls.
• Respond to customer regulatory requests and support product compliance across different applications.
• Monitor regulatory and classification updates, coordinate with business stakeholders, and minimize business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above; one year of relevant experience may substitute for one year of formal education.
• At least three years of experience in product safety and stewardship in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Expertise in GHS classification and labeling of chemicals and regulatory compliance for end-use applications.
• Fluency in English.
• Basic understanding of toxicology and ecotoxicology.
• Independent working ability, effective teamwork, communication, analytical thinking, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulatory compliance automation, SDS and labeling digitalization, regulatory data management, workflow automation, or AI-assisted document review.
