Full-Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; the team requires at least 6 hours of overlap with PST from 8 am to 2 pm PST.

Salary: $211,000–$250,000 annual US base salary, plus potential equity participation.

What you will do

• Build reliable and scalable software, web applications, APIs, and services used by TRM customers.
• Develop and maintain public APIs within the API Product suite.
• Design backend APIs with attention to customer experience, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn product visions into roadmaps with clear outcomes.
• Support internal business units through shared engineering services and cross-functional functionality.
• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately once every 15 weeks, triaging PagerDuty alerts and customer support requests.

Requirements

• Backend engineering experience building and operating scalable production-grade services.
• Proficiency in modern frontend development, including React, with experience building interactive, design-heavy, high-performance UIs.
• Experience designing scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services.
• Knowledge of relational and analytical databases, including Postgres, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Ability to translate customer pain points into technical and product requirements, structure complex problems, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Availability for at least 6 hours of overlap with PST, from 8 am to 2 pm PST.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js, GraphQL, real-time systems, containers, or Kubernetes.
• Experience with GCP, CI/CD, service-oriented architectures, and distributed systems.
