What you will do
- Lead and develop a team of high-impact engineers, providing technical, cultural, and hands-on leadership.
- Manage end-to-end availability and performance of mission-critical data services analyzing blockchain activity at petabyte scale.
- Build reliable data services and ETL pipelines to integrate with dozens of blockchains in real time.
- Design optimal data models for storage and retrieval to support sub-second query latency.
- Collaborate with data scientists and product managers to prioritize roadmap objectives and implement new data models.
- Deploy and monitor large-scale database clusters in public cloud environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience building distributed system architecture from design to production.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and SQL or SparkSQL.
- Experience with data stores (ClickHouse, ElasticSearch, Postgres, Redis, Neo4j) and orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT).
- Proficiency in data processing (Spark, Kafka, Flink) and cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
- Must be based in the United States.
