What you will do

• Drive the technical roadmap for AI infrastructure, ensuring alignment with product goals and architectural evolution.
• Oversee capacity planning and traffic shaping for AI inference workloads to maintain system reliability and performance.
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration to resolve dependencies and ensure seamless integration across platform services.
• Mentor engineering leaders and team members, fostering a culture of growth, developer empathy, and inclusive collaboration.
• Champion telemetry-driven development and automation to enable rapid iteration and data-informed decision-making.
• Manage incident response and reliability practices, ensuring all services meet strict service-level objectives (SLOs).

Requirements

• 11+ years of experience in Software Engineering (or related technical discipline) with extensive experience in production software.
• 5+ years of direct people management experience in a technical environment.
• Proven ability to build and scale high-trust, high-impact engineering organizations.
• Strong background in distributed systems performance, specifically regarding autoscaling and load balancing for inference workloads.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
