Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Austin, Chicago, DC, or NYC (Hybrid: in-office attendance required Mon, Tue, Thu).

Compensation: $185,000 – $215,000

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure and SRE engineers to build and maintain scalable cloud platforms.
• Ensure AWS environments are secure, cost-efficient, and production-ready with robust IAM and compliance controls.
• Drive the evolution of CI/CD, observability, and platform tooling to improve developer experience.
• Define and track key platform health metrics, including availability, latency, and infrastructure cost per transaction.
• Partner with Security, Data, and Product teams to enable reliable experimentation and scalable system architecture.
• Oversee large-scale programs such as cloud modernization and foundational resilience upgrades.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing infrastructure, SRE, or platform engineering teams.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and operating production systems in the cloud.
• Strong proficiency in AWS design, including networking, container orchestration, and IAM.
• Experience with modern DevOps practices, including Terraform, CI/CD, and observability stacks.
• Ability to communicate complex technical tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Austin, Chicago, DC, or NYC.

• Experience integrating generative AI into engineering workflows for automation and incident analysis.
