TL;DR

Proposal Manager (Aerospace & Defense): Leading the development and execution of high-value proposals for the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS) with an accent on cross-functional integration and strategic positioning. Focus on translating complex technical capabilities into compelling narratives and managing the end-to-end submission process for government and commercial contracts.

Location: Remote (Washington DC) or Hybrid/Onsite (Torrance, CA). Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance.

Salary: $115,670 - $183,680 USD

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end proposal responses as the primary author and integrator of cross-functional inputs.
  • Develop response structures and ensure compliance with federal, prime, and regulatory requirements.
  • Translate complex technical inputs into persuasive narratives highlighting differentiated capabilities.
  • Partner with business development and executives to drive pricing strategies and price-to-win alignment.
  • Coordinate and manage complex review cycles to incorporate actionable feedback on schedule.
  • Support the drafting of informational materials, such as white papers and pitch decks.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizen eligible and willing to obtain Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to lawfully access information subject to US export controls.
  • 5+ years of experience in proposal management or project-intensive writing roles.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional efforts under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills to synthesize technical and business inputs.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals.

Nice to have

  • Experience in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments like software or advanced manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes and government contracting frameworks.
  • Experience managing large, multi-volume RFPs or strategic captures end-to-end.
  • Experience supporting pricing strategy and cost volumes.
