Location: Remote (Must be based in Poland)
Salary: PLN 365,000 - 485,000 per year

What you will do
- Set long-term technical strategy for the team and align it with critical, business-impacting projects.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to manage technical risks and trade-offs throughout the development lifecycle.
- Act as a force-multiplier by defining and advocating for technical solutions and operational processes.
- Own team operations and availability, including monitoring, triage rotations, playbooks, and alerting.
- Foster a culture of quality by setting code review and design standards across the team.
- Develop talent through mentorship, providing guidance and leading by example for senior engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in designing and launching backend systems at scale using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in developing web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React, React Native, or Vue.
- Proven track record of delivering major features or system components through detailed technical and execution plans.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and move between low-level implementation and high-level system architecture.
- Must be located in Poland.
