Full Stack Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Buenos Aires. The role is currently fully remote, with a future transition to a hybrid setup.

hirify.global is building an AI-powered financial ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S., focused on WhatsApp-based remittances and cross-border payments using AI, blockchain, and stablecoins.

What you will do

• Architect and implement scalable backend microservices, including core components of the chat platform.
• Build, deploy, and iterate on web, mobile, and conversational interfaces for remittance services.
• Design infrastructure capable of handling millions of daily requests and real-time messaging.
• Develop backend services using Google Cloud and established industry standards.
• Use customer feedback and analytics to improve chatbot effectiveness and conversational user experience.
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with product, UX/UI, and business teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience building, shipping, and iterating on software applications with real-world impact.
• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures, with experience in web services including SOAP and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, A/B testing, feature flags, and gradual rollouts.
• Experience or familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar technologies.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher required.

Nice to have

• Experience developing mobile applications.
• Curiosity about or experience in fintech.
• Experience with the listed backend, frontend, mobile, cloud, and infrastructure technologies.
