What you will do

• Act as a strategic legal advisor for ISDA/CSAs, confirms, prime brokerage, and lending transactions.
• Advise on swap dealer related rules and implement global regulatory and market changes affecting trading.
• Negotiate documentation with hedge funds, crypto-native firms, and other institutional clients.
• Coordinate outside counsel engagement and collaborate with functional partners to escalate issues.
• Draft non-disclosure agreements and manage high-volume workflows in a dynamic environment.
• Leverage generative AI and automation platforms to improve productivity and output quality.

Requirements

• Active membership in the NY state bar.
• 6+ years of transactional experience reviewing financial agreements, primarily ISDA/CSAs and prime brokerage agreements.
• Deep product knowledge and regulatory experience within OTC derivatives and swap dealer businesses.
• Professional experience at a sell-side bank supporting derivative desks.
• Ability to apply traditional financial legal concepts within the crypto space to resolve ambiguous situations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the regulatory treatment of digital assets.
• Experience negotiating technology agreements, including SaaS, cloud, and procurement contracts.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience at a top-tier law firm.
