What you will do

• Manage and develop a team of commercial attorneys, including hiring, mentoring, and setting priorities.
• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements for enterprise and government customers, focusing on GTM and partnership deals.
• Navigate cross-border legal complexities including GDPR, UK data protection, EU regulatory frameworks, and APAC requirements.
• Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering leadership to accelerate deal velocity and provide business-oriented legal guidance.
• Build and maintain commercial legal infrastructure, including contract templates, fallback playbooks, and CLM workflows.
• Lead AI-enabled legal operations by designing and iterating AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years of legal experience with a mix of top-tier law firm and in-house work.
• Strong background in SaaS, fintech, cybersecurity, or crypto/Web3.
• Significant experience negotiating complex B2B technology agreements and providing product counseling.
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Demonstrated fluency in using generative AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) for drafting, research, and workflow design.
• Deep literacy in AI, data, and privacy regulations.

• Familiarity with public sector procurement or bank/vendor risk processes.
• Experience working with law enforcement or financial institutions.
