Associate Counsel (Data Centers)

What you will do

• Structure, negotiate, and draft commercial real estate agreements, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and easements.
• Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions, reviewing title, surveys, zoning, land use, and environmental matters.
• Draft and negotiate confidentiality agreements, letters of intent, and ancillary vendor agreements.
• Support real estate components of M&A and joint venture transactions.
• Coordinate and supervise outside counsel to ensure compliance with closing deliverables.
• Provide day-to-day legal guidance to internal development and operations teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of legal experience with a strong focus on commercial real estate transactions.
• Juris Doctor degree and active membership in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar.
• Prior experience at a nationally recognized law firm (Big Law).
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Dallas, TX office.
