What you will do

• Draft, negotiate, and review a broad range of revenue-generating contracts, including MSAs and data/technology licensing agreements.
• Provide legal analysis on applicable laws and regulations, specifically regarding AI and personal data privacy.
• Support continuous improvement of legal forms, policies, and processes to streamline commercial deals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze legal risks and devise creative solutions.
• Assist the General Counsel with additional corporate legal matters.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited school and current membership in good standing with the California bar.
• 7+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally spanning both well-regarded law firms and in-house roles.
• Experience with commercial technology transactions (SaaS, data licensing) with Fortune 1000 companies globally.
• Proven experience handling data privacy and security issues.
• Must be able to work on-site in San Francisco.
• Strong drafting skills and ability to negotiate with internal and external executives.
