Senior Commercial Counsel (AI)

Location: United States; fully remote with approximately 10% travel

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 annually, plus bonus and benefits

Healthcare technology company providing an AI-powered clinical intelligence platform that improves payer-provider collaboration, prior authorization, payment integrity, cost containment, and healthcare outcomes.

What you will do

• Provide transactional and commercial legal counsel for healthcare products, health insurer customers, and commercial partners.
• Draft, review, and negotiate customer, vendor, partnership, licensing, NDA, marketing, and SaaS agreements, with a focus on enterprise sales transactions.
• Build and maintain contract templates, playbooks, policies, and commercial legal processes.
• Advise Sales, Product, Operations, HR, Finance, and other stakeholders on practical, risk-aware solutions.
• Partner on AI and data usage governance, product launches, healthcare technology developments, and international expansion.
• Support legal risk management, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and intellectual property protection.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
• 3–5 years of corporate legal experience, including law firm and in-house experience.
• Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating commercial technology contracts.
• Familiarity with healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Strong communication, business judgment, organization, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States and travel approximately 10%.
