Location: On-site in McLean, VA (Monday through Friday)

hirify.global is an AI-powered wealth management platform building an integrated system for investments, taxes, and estate planning.

What you will do

  • Serve as the primary legal advisor to executive leadership and the Board of Directors on governance and risk.
  • Build and lead the legal function, establishing scalable processes and frameworks to support growth.
  • Oversee corporate legal matters including entity structure, board support, and record management.
  • Provide legal guidance on financial services regulatory matters, specifically SEC and FINRA compliance.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure AI financial products align with legal requirements.
  • Lead legal support for corporate transactions, including fundraising and M&A activity.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
  • 12+ years of legal experience, including in-house roles at technology or FinTech companies.
  • Experience with Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) and/or broker-dealer regulatory frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of SEC and FINRA regulatory environments.
  • Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and strategic partnerships.
  • Must be based in or be able to work on-site in McLean, VA.
