Sr. Manager, Sales Engineering (Enterprise, West Coast) (AppSec/DevSecOps): Lead and develop a Sales Engineering team to drive technical excellence, strategic enterprise engagements, and customer success across the Enterprise West region with an accent on application security solution positioning (SAST/SCA/DAST/IAST) and AI-driven code analysis. Focus on shaping regional strategy, managing complex sales cycles and PoCs, and partnering with Product and R&D to translate customer insights into product direction.
Location: Remote - West Coast (CA, OR, WA, AZ, NM). Based in CA, OR, WA, AZ, or NM
Salary: $173,900 - $260,900 USD

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop Sales Engineers to deliver technical partnerships for Enterprise West.
- Execute regional strategy with Sales Leadership to improve win rates and support new and expansion business.
- Deliver technical presentations and demos for developers through C-level executives, including guidance on AI-assisted development practices.
- Run multiple Proofs of Concept (PoCs) with clear success criteria and provide deep technical expertise throughout sales cycles.
- Partner with Product Management and R&D to provide actionable customer insights that influence product enhancements and roadmap.
Requirements
- 3+ years of management experience in high-tech software sales or Sales Engineering leadership.
- 5+ years working in a high-tech software organization, ideally in Sales Engineering or Technical Sales.
- Based in CA, OR, WA, AZ, or NM.
- Strong understanding of modern software development, AI-assisted development, SBOM, functional safety, deployment technologies, and the AppSec landscape.
- Experience with SDLC processes, CI/CD tools, and at least one modern programming language (Java, C/C++, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python).
- Excellent communication skills to articulate value drivers and technical differentiation; ability to manage multiple sales cycles in a fast-paced environment.
