Account Executive (Cybersecurity)

Account Executive (Cybersecurity/DevSecOps): Leading full-lifecycle capture efforts across the Defense Industrial Base to acquire new government customers with an accent on secure software delivery, DevSecOps, and tactical edge enablement. Focus on designing win strategies, managing FAR-based acquisition processes, and aligning technical solutions with DoD mission outcomes.

Location: Remote (United States)

Salary: $145,000 - $185,000 base + commission

What you will do

• Lead full-lifecycle capture efforts and acquire new customers across the Defense Industrial Base.
• Develop and execute capture plans, win strategies, and competitive positioning to secure new business.
• Engage with government stakeholders and partners to shape opportunities before formal solicitation.
• Translate technical capabilities, such as UDS and cATO acceleration, into persuasive win themes.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with market intelligence, SWOT analysis, and pricing strategy.
• Track KPIs and analyze business development activities to refine growth approaches.

Requirements

• Proven experience winning complex technical pursuits through the full capture lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of acquisition processes including FAR-based contracts, OTAs, SBIR, and IDIQ.
• Strong communication and leadership skills for both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver successful proposals.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with software factory environments, DevSecOps, or tactical edge deployments.
• Deep experience within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
