DevSecOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Maintain and extend infrastructure-as-code repositories using Terraform and OpenTofu.
• Develop and manage configuration-as-code assets using Ansible.
• Build and optimize GitHub Actions workflows for automated build, test, scanning, and deployment.
• Support containerized delivery with Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm charts and RBAC.
• Integrate security practices into pipelines, including SAST, secrets scanning, and compliance hardening.
• Collaborate in sprint planning, technical reviews, and documentation updates.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, infrastructure automation, or CI/CD engineering.
• Hands-on proficiency with Terraform, OpenTofu, and Ansible.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining GitHub Actions workflows.
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and container security scanning.
• Familiarity with SAST tools and policy-as-code frameworks.
• Ability to meet federal screening and suitability requirements prior to start.

Nice to have

• Experience working in regulated or federal environments.
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP compliance.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform.
• Proficiency with HashiCorp Vault, Python, and Bash scripting.
