DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

TL;DR

DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes/Terraform): Building and optimizing reliable video processing infrastructure with an accent on production Kubernetes administration and infrastructure automation. Focus on designing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud-hosted clusters, and resolving complex production failures.

Location: Remote (US). Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization or visa sponsorship of any kind.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and administer production Kubernetes clusters, including workload scheduling, RBAC, and network policies.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Helm, ArgoCD, and other native Kubernetes delivery workflows.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) utilizing Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Optimize cloud resources to implement cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
• Implement security best practices and automated compliance checks for secure code deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance to ensure high reliability and smooth workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps roles.
• Production-level expertise with Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or AKS) and Helm chart management.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.

Nice to have

• Experience with CloudFormation or Pulumi.
