Additive Manufacturing Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Torrance, California, United States (Onsite)

Compensation: $27 - $50 per hour

A technology company that has commercialized the Divergent Adaptive Production System (DAPS) to optimize vehicle structure production for automotive and aerospace sectors.

What you will do

• Support the production of high-quality precision components through AM and post-processing operations.
• Execute daily AM operations to ensure parts meet engineering, quality, and customer specifications.
• Maintain operational efficiency and safety to achieve production targets in a FOD-free environment.
• Collaborate with leads and management to continuously improve manufacturing processes.
• Operate highly technical equipment including lasers, CNCs, and robotics.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and good hand-eye coordination.
• Proficiency with computer software and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States (E-Verify).
• Ability to work a rotating 3–4 x11 shift (1st shift).

Nice to have

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in Additive Manufacturing or general manufacturing.
• Experience in aerospace or automotive AM environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.
• Experience with lasers, MRI’s, EDM’s, Robotics, CNC’s, and CMM.
