TL;DR

Lead Partner Sales Engineer (Cybersecurity): Driving the technical strategy, enablement, and success of the partner ecosystem across federal, state, and local government markets with an accent on AppSec integration and solution architecture. Focus on enabling partners to position and architect SAST, SCA, and DAST solutions while ensuring compliance with public sector frameworks.

Location: Washington DC Metro area (preferred) or Remote within the US. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Salary: $141,200 - $211,800 (OTE: $176,500 - $264,750)

What you will do

  • Enable public sector partners to position, demo, and architect Black Duck security solutions.
  • Deliver technical training sessions, hands-on workshops, and solution certifications for partner teams.
  • Provide architecture guidance on SAST, SCA, DAST, and CI/CD integration.
  • Advise partners on meeting compliance requirements for federal, state, and local agencies.
  • Represent the company at partner events, government technology forums, and security conferences.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales engineering or solutions architecture, ideally focused on AppSec or DevSecOps.
  • Proven experience working with public sector partners, resellers, or systems integrators.
  • Familiarity with public sector frameworks such as NIST 80053, 800171, FedRAMP, and DISA STIGs.
  • Strong knowledge of application security tools (SAST, SCA, DAST).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab) and languages like C/C++, Java, or .NET.
