What you will do

• Maintain and improve the Energy Management System (EMS), including PI Historian and Synchro-Phasor.
• Support the modeling of Power System Market and Reliability Models necessary for grid operation.
• Execute Full Network Model build and deployment processes.
• Provide 24x7 technical support to Real-Time Operations and other internal departments.
• Manage AF database, perform PI host application updates, and maintain associated procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to geospatial and data providers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering.
• Entry-level position; no professional experience required.
• Knowledge of Energy Management System (EMS) operations and principles.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and writing skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Academic focus on Power Systems.
• Coursework in power systems modeling using software such as PSS\E or PSFL.
• Experience with contingency or load flow analysis applications.
• Knowledge of California power generation and transmission networks.
