Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to the US (Cary, NC; Atlanta, GA; Tualatin, OR; Orlando, FL; or Chattanooga, TN). Hybrid options available after 90 days.

What you will do
- Support substation projects up to 765kV in detailed engineering design and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) phases.
- Develop protection and control deliverables including protective relays, panel arrangements, AC/DC schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Create physical design deliverables such as yard layout plans, grounding, lightning protection, and auxiliary power systems.
- Prepare equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors for design reviews and field verification.
- Perform QA/QC responsibilities and support business development or pursuit activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
- Must be based in or eligible for relocation to the United States.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Ability to complete pre-employment background checks and drug screens.
Nice to have
- High voltage (HV) substation design experience in Physical or Protection & Controls.
- Engineering-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite.
