Associate Electrical Engineer (Substation)

What you will do

• Support substation projects up to 765kV in detailed engineering design and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) phases.
• Develop protection and control deliverables including protective relays, panel arrangements, AC/DC schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Create physical design deliverables such as yard layout plans, grounding, lightning protection, and auxiliary power systems.
• Prepare equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors for design reviews and field verification.
• Perform QA/QC responsibilities and support business development or pursuit activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
• Must be based in or eligible for relocation to the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Ability to complete pre-employment background checks and drug screens.

Nice to have

• High voltage (HV) substation design experience in Physical or Protection & Controls.
• Engineering-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite.
