What you will do

• Develop, review, and approve electrical system design documents including schematics, wiring diagrams, and protection studies.
• Lead cross-functional teams and act as a subject matter expert for electrical design standards and specifications.
• Manage electrical design aspects of capital projects, facility upgrades, and business expansion initiatives.
• Provide troubleshooting support for plant operations and perform root cause analysis on electrical failures.
• Coordinate with external AE firms, suppliers, and contractors to ensure projects meet budget and schedule requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and share technical best practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA with the ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 10 years of professional engineering experience in utility power plants or large industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in electrical design software including AutoCAD, ETAP, and SKM Powertools.
• Experience with HV, MV, and LV distribution systems, including protective relaying schemes.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure is preferred.
