Salary: $200,000 - $285,000 USD

What you will do

• Own the power systems basis of design, including generation, energy storage, and distribution for fully islanded microgrids.
• Define protection philosophy, coordination, and controls hierarchy to ensure reliability for hyperscale AI workloads.
• Lead hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing programs and commissioning readiness for complex power architectures.
• Select optimal energy storage and load smoothing solutions while driving dynamic performance studies.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of power systems engineers.
• Serve as the senior technical authority for hyperscale customers and represent the company in technical reviews with regulators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in power systems engineering with deep expertise in generation, protection, and controls.
• Demonstrated experience with behind-the-meter or islanded power generation systems.
• Deep experience with modeling tools such as ETAP, PSSE, PSCAD, EMTP-RV, or RSCAD/RTDS.
• Hands-on experience implementing HIL testing programs.
• Working knowledge of IEEE 1547, IEEE C37, IEEE 2030.7/2030.8, and NERC CIP.
