Salary: $94,000–$112,625/year plus annual bonus.

What you will do

• Support greenfield development by reviewing transmission system analysis and identifying interconnection procedures.
• Prepare and file interconnection requests while providing viability feedback to internal stakeholders.
• Review and analyze utility study reports and track results throughout the interconnection process.
• Negotiate and execute Generator Interconnection Agreements and engineering/procurement contracts.
• Integrate Transmission Owner schedules into overall project construction timelines.
• Conduct due diligence and identify potential risks for transmission-level projects.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in Power Systems or a related field.
• 2–5 years of work experience in renewable/traditional energy development, utility generation, or transmission planning.
• Familiarity with power flow modeling (PSS/E and/or PSLF).
• Knowledge of System Impact Studies (SIS) and Open Access Transmission Tariffs.
• Understanding of electrical diagrams, site plans, and interconnection request packages.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify employer).
