TL;DR
HR Systems Solution Expert (Workday HCM): Designing and optimizing HR processes and system solutions within the Workday platform with an accent on business requirement translation and system scalability. Focus on driving continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle and ensuring seamless integration between HR, IT, and Finance.
Location: Must be based in Heidelberg (Germany) or Hinxton (UK)
Salary: €4,459.95 per month (after tax)

What you will do
- Translate complex business requirements into practical Workday HCM solutions.
- Support ongoing implementation, optimization, and future module deployments of Workday.
- Review, map, and improve HR processes to identify opportunities for automation and simplification.
- Create and maintain process documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation of system changes.
- Deliver training and workshops to HR colleagues and end users.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience supporting Workday HCM implementation or significant enhancement projects from the HR side.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and Workday HCM functionality.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Experience collaborating with HRIS/ERP technical specialists and implementation partners.
Nice to have
- Experience working in an international or multicultural environment.
- Knowledge of SAP HR/Payroll or other ERP platforms.
- Experience with HR reporting and data quality initiatives.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement or process optimization methodologies.
- Additional European language skills.
