Salary: $41.90–$58.66 per hour

What you will do

• Monitor and analyze state and federal legislation impacting grid operations.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop responses to legislative inquiries.
• Support the Board of Governors confirmation process by compiling briefing materials and facilitating meetings.
• Draft monthly reports and legislative updates for executive review.
• Coordinate emergency on-call schedules and maintain the department business continuity plan.
• Facilitate communication between the ISO and state energy agencies, the Governor’s office, and environmental groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in research, analysis, and writing on policy issues.
• Knowledge of state legislative principles, processes, and terminology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid team environment in Folsom, CA.
