TL;DR

Financial Analyst (Hybrid): Delivering financial analysis, renewal modeling, market evaluations, and compliance support to strengthen client benefit strategy with an accent on renewal projections, pricing/contribution modeling, and accurate carrier/claims data. Focus on managing RFPs and producing clear renewal exhibits and executive-ready reporting across the plan lifecycle.

Location: Chicago, IL (Rosemont)

Salary: $60,000 to $80,000 per year

What you will do

  • Prepare financial reports, renewal projections, pricing models, contribution modeling, and plan performance analyses
  • Create market exhibits, renewal materials, and client presentations
  • Own and project manage the RFP process for assigned clients, including finalist presentations
  • Collect, audit, analyze, and interpret carrier and claims data to support renewals and financial deliverables
  • Maintain accurate market, renewal, and client data in internal systems (D365 and Client Action Logs)
  • Support client compliance requirements (e.g., RxDC, 5500s, PCORI, Creditable Coverage, Discrimination Testing) and distribute monthly carrier performance reports

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Math, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience working with a group insurance carrier, broker, or consultant
  • Knowledge of group insurance products (medical, dental, pharmacy, life, disability, CDHPs)
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, organization, and project management skills; ability to manage multiple client priorities and deadlines
