Location: Richmond, VA
Salary: $141,640–$194,755 base + 30% incentive

What you will do
- Lead pricing analyses for assigned Commercial Professional Lines, including rate indications, pricing tools, and portfolio insights.
- Evaluate and support new business opportunities through research, modeling, and pricing framework development.
- Partner with Underwriting, Claims, and other stakeholders to align pricing strategies with risk characteristics and market dynamics.
- Communicate actuarial findings and recommendations to actuarial and non-actuarial audiences, adapting analyses based on feedback.
- Present results in meetings and provide guidance on actuarial principles, methodologies, and key assumptions.
- Contribute to and lead cross-functional initiatives; support junior staff by reinforcing actuarial best practices.
Requirements
- US Work Authorization required; does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mathematics, statistics, or a related analytical field.
- ACAS required; FCAS preferred.
- Minimum 8–10 years of actuarial experience with strong emphasis on Commercial Lines pricing.
- Demonstrated experience in Professional Lines products (e.g., E&O, D&O, EPLI) strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects and clearly articulate and defend actuarial assumptions and conclusions.
