TL;DR
Director, Podcast Partnerships (CPG & Retail): Driving revenue growth and strategic partnerships within the CPG and Retail sectors for the Vox Media Podcast Network with an accent on consultative selling and relationship management. Focus on developing innovative podcast and talent solutions that connect brands with engaged audiences and delivering measurable outcomes.
Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Hybrid: 3 days per week in office)
Salary: $110,000 - $120,000 USD

What you will do
- Develop and manage a growing book of business with CPG and Retail clients.
- Cultivate strong relationships with brand managers and agency partners to position Vox Media as a go-to partner.
- Translate client objectives into high-impact campaigns using podcasts, talent, video, and social capabilities.
- Manage pipeline with rigor, maintain accurate forecasting, and deliver against revenue targets.
- Partner with editorial, marketing, and production teams to develop culturally resonant proposals.
- Represent the network at industry events and conferences to grow presence within the category.
Requirements
- 5+ years of digital media and/or podcast sales experience with success in CPG or Retail.
- Must be based in New York, NY and able to work from the office 3 days per week.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills with the ability to communicate value propositions clearly.
- Deep understanding of how CPG and Retail brands plan and buy media.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Data-informed approach to building persuasive, results-oriented proposals.
