What you will do

• Manage a team of investigators, handling 1:1s, career-pathing, and performance feedback.
• Convert leadership priorities into actionable investigator workloads.
• Actively source and hire talent while owning the end-to-end onboarding process.
• Maintain high work-product quality through credible QC and investigative oversight.
• Partner with engineering, legal, and cross-functional teams to support downstream investigative actions.
• Operate as a servant-leader, stepping into the trenches when necessary to support team throughput.

Requirements

• 12+ months of people management experience with 3–8 direct reports.
• Operational or investigative experience in cryptocurrency tracing, financial-crime investigations, or legal-process drafting.
• AI fluency: Ability to apply AI tools to accelerate workflows and improve output quality.
• Legal-process fluency: Working-level familiarity with subpoenas, warrants, and formal investigative documentation.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Must be based in Washington, D.C., MD, or VA.
