Compensation: $230,000 – $250,000

Faros is building an engineering intelligence platform that provides operational context to help AI agents and engineering teams improve software delivery.

What you will do

• Define and execute the end-to-end design strategy for both the core intelligence platform and new agentic AI products.
• Lead a systemic facelift of the UI to achieve high-maturity visual standards suitable for enterprise buyers.
• Transform complex engineering analytics into intuitive, actionable data visualizations and dashboards.
• Operate as a hands-on designer, utilizing AI tools to optimize workflows and directly implement UI/UX improvements via code.
• Manage and mentor the existing design team while building the foundation for future organizational growth.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to align design outcomes with business goals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Product Design with at least 3 years in a leadership or founding role.
• Deep fluency in AI tooling, including LLMs, agentic workflows, and generative UI.
• Proven ability to unify complex product surfaces into a cohesive experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in data visualization and insight-driven UI.
• Player-coach mentality with a willingness to execute high-fidelity work while managing a team.
• Outcome-driven mindset focused on customer satisfaction and business conversion.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for AI-powered products or natural language interfaces.
• Familiarity with the engineering/DevOps landscape (DORA metrics, GitHub workflows).
• Strong understanding of front-end constraints and ability to partner with Lead Engineers.
• Passion for tinkering with emerging AI design tools and engineering frameworks.
