Director of Product Design (Fintech): Leading a team of builders to create smart financial infrastructure with an accent on AI-native product areas and high-impact customer experiences. Location: Hybrid: Must be based in New York, NY (at least 3 days/week at HQ). Relocation support to NYC or SF is available.

Salary: Estimated Base Salary $320K – $440K + Equity

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of product designers.
• Own product vision and design direction across critical AI-native product areas.
• Partner with product and engineering to shape strategy and deliver customer impact.
• Coach designers through clear feedback, high standards, and strong mentorship.
• Define how design works in an AI-native software world.
• Stay close to customers and use their feedback to guide product decisions.

• Experience leading and developing high-performing product design teams.
• Strong product judgment, design craft, and systems thinking.
• Track record of shipping products with meaningful customer and business impact.
• Deep customer empathy and comfort operating in ambiguity.
• Ability to influence across functions and develop exceptional talent.
• Active user of AI tools and excited about how AI is changing software.

• Founder or early-stage startup experience.
• Experience designing AI-native, automation, or agentic systems.
• Experience building workflow or operations tooling.
• Experience leading managers or multi-layered teams.
