What you will do

• Develop and implement innovative algorithms for task and motion planning and computer vision.
• Design, implement, and optimize algorithms within the planning framework.
• Collaborate with automation and software engineers to ensure seamless product integration.
• Maintain software development best practices to ensure high-quality code and efficient testing.
• Assist in the integration and testing of computer vision software for real-world performance.
• Document code, algorithms, and procedures to support knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Must be able to lawfully access information and technology subject to US export controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field with 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Fundamental understanding of industrial robotics, including manipulator kinematics, dynamics, and trajectory generation.
• Experience with open-source robotic planning software such as MoveIt and ROS.
• Knowledge of unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Nice to have

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
• Understanding of computer vision libraries such as OpenCV and PCL.
• Experience with C# or TypeScript.
• Experience using Generative AI in robotics.
• Strong publication record or open-source contributions.
