What you will do

• Manage full lifecycle of data center insurance policies, including underwriting, renewal, and claims.
• Partner with legal and finance to identify coverage gaps and negotiate insurance provisions in vendor and construction contracts.
• Liaise with brokers, underwriters, and external providers to implement coverage strategies.
• Oversee insurance for high-value equipment during procurement, transit, warehousing, and installation.
• Monitor and enforce vendor adherence to contractual insurance requirements through COI verification.
• Drive cost optimization and ensure favorable terms through strategic review and negotiation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a broker, underwriter, or risk professional in the construction industry.
• Deep knowledge of Commercial P&C, Builder’s Risk, Cargo, Inland Marine, and Professional Liability.
• Experience managing external insurance broker relationships and evaluating carrier performance.
• Proven ability to review and draft insurance provisions within commercial contracts.
• Experience managing Builder's Risk or Wrap-Up programs for projects exceeding $1B is preferred.
