What you will do

• Evaluate and price health insurance plans for small to mid-sized employer groups.
• Utilize hirify.global’s proprietary underwriting engine to produce rating output for level-funded plans.
• Manage a caseload while maintaining targets for turnaround time, productivity, and accuracy.
• Prepare initial rate quotes and renewals under close supervision.
• Collaborate with sales, actuarial teams, and brokers to explain pricing and product offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Insurance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of underwriting experience, preferably in health insurance or employee benefits.
• Exposure to level-funded or self-funded insurance products.
• Must be based in the USA (indicated by US-specific benefits like 401k).
• Strong basic math knowledge and high attention to detail.

• Internship or experience in healthcare analytics or benefits consulting.
• Coursework or certification in insurance or risk management.
