Salary: $206,000 - $256,000 (CAD)

What you will do

• Define technical strategy and roadmap for ML Platform, covering feature computation and model serving at scale.
• Lead and grow a team of engineering managers while maintaining a hands-on approach to technical direction.
• Build infrastructure for frontier AI, including transformer-based models, GPU compute, and reinforcement learning.
• Collaborate with ML modeling, product, and infrastructure leadership to accelerate critical ML initiatives.
• Establish engineering excellence regarding reliability, observability, and developer experience.
• Recruit and develop world-class platform engineers.

Requirements

• 12+ years of industry experience in software and/or ML engineering.
• 4+ years of experience managing engineering managers.
• Deep expertise in large-scale ML infrastructure, such as feature stores and training pipelines.
• Fluency with modern ML architectures (Deep Neural Networks, Transformers, RL) and GPU training.
• Strong systems thinking and experience navigating architectural trade-offs.
• Must be based in Canada.
