What you will do

• Lead the architecture and strategy for enterprise-scale AI/ML data engineering platforms using cloud-native services.
• Strategize and implement secure, scalable AI solutions for clinical insights and generative AI use cases.
• Guide teams on cloud, data, and model governance patterns ensuring HIPAA and HITRUST regulatory alignment.
• Mentor product leaders, data scientists, and engineering teams on MLOps and platform modernization.
• Provide direct technical supervision for HIS product teams, managing hiring, goal tracking, and performance reviews.
• Champion Agile principles and foster an atmosphere of innovation and professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in team leadership.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (e.g., no H1B sponsorship).
• 2+ years of experience leading the design of agentic AI frameworks and LLM orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex).
• 6+ years of experience building scalable distributed systems with Python/Java and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Nice to have

• Expertise in AI safety, guardrails, and prompt injection defense.
• Experience building AI evaluation and observability systems with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Experience with SOAP/REST, Javascript, and Angular.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and relational database design (SQL).
