TL;DR

Key Account Manager (Fintech): Managing a portfolio of strategic merchant accounts to drive revenue and General Merchandise Volume (GMV) with an accent on complex contract negotiation and relationship management. Location: Remote (Must be based in the US)

Salary: $160,000 - $256,250 OTE per year

What you will do

  • Oversee a portfolio of strategic accounts and drive initiatives including complex contract negotiation and pricing to increase revenue and GMV.
  • Lead and execute account plans involving financing optimizations, executive engagement, and marketing strategies.
  • Analyze partner performance and recommend programs to grow up-funnel awareness and product adoption.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams across Product, Technical, Credit, Analytics, Marketing, and Risk to execute partnership initiatives.
  • Manage customer health and collaborate with product management to improve the Affirm offering for merchants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 6-10 years of B2B client-facing experience in a high-tech environment.
  • Proven experience negotiating and closing large, complex commercial contracts for F100 companies.
  • Outstanding executive presence and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects with high attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical abilities to review merchant performance and report impact to stakeholders.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of retail, consumer finance offerings, integrated software solutions, and e-commerce.
  • Experience using Salesforce and standard BI tools.
